"Add to calendar" event menu option doesn't work on some
devices
If that menu option doesn't work, chances are that it's due to a change
that your device's manufacturer has made to the standard Android system.
It's not likely that a fix will be possible for every single potential
OEM modification that is made, but at the same time it's not really
necessary. If you're having trouble adding events to the calendar
manually, do it automatically.
